BIOMIMICRY POSITION PRE-APPLICATION SURVEY

The Biomimicry Group, headquartered in Missoula, Montana, seeks an experienced professional who, as Chief Operations Officer, can optimize the internal operations of our growing and evolving group of companies. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated COO experience coupled with an entrepreneurial aptitude. Deep experience within sustainability and innovation-driven organizations is a plus. Successful candidates will be able to lead all day-to-day operations for the Biomimicry Group and to support staff needs as well as to provide ongoing leadership, vision, and strategy for the rapidly expanding Biomimicry Group.

The COO must have demonstrated financial management and analytical skills, have outstanding personnel management skills, be fast paced and flexible, and have a proven ability to anticipate the evolving needs and opportunities of a rapidly growing organization. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Successful COO experience in a high growth business environment preferred
• Experience with non-profit management is a plus
• Minimum 7 years experience in operations with at least 3 years of management-level experience
• Experienced and familiar with MS Office, QuickBooks, and web-based management tools
• Minimum undergraduate degree, advanced degree preferred
• US Citizenship or Green Card required
